Brief

Cabot Financial purchase consumer debt portfolios from the leading names in UK consumer finance and required an online presence enabling customers to find solutions to resolve long outstanding debt problems.

Solution

Connections worked with Cabot to deliver their online consumer strategy. An information driven website was created to provide debt information services and explain how Cabot Financial helps clients manage their way out of debt.

Connections also delivered a separate secure portal application that provides a new channel for Cabot customers to deal with the company and manage their account online.

To gain access to the portal Cabot clients must complete an online application procedure which verifies their identity against information stored in the data warehouse. Once they have signed up and received their password they can use the online service.

Once logged in the secure portal provides Cabot customers with a range of online services including:

• Reviewing their current account balance
• Reviewing recent account transactions
• Making one-off payments
• Proposing and agreeing a repayment schedule
